Is the Commitment of Net Zero Emissions Realistic?
Sacramento, California, 11 May 2022 – Kepler Energy Systems has been awarded a California Sustainable Energy Entrepreneur Development (CalSEED) grant, funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC), for its Extensible Energy System that uses an innovative non-lithium battery compressed air energy storage technology and machine learning controller to manage the efficiency of energy capture and distribution.
“I am thrilled to begin working with Kepler Energy Systems who will be instrumental in advancing California’s transition to a clean energy future.” Sarah Chester, Director of Grants Compliance, CalSEED.
It’s exciting to imagine what the future of energy will be and how Kepler Energy Systems will be a part of it.” Joshua Croft, Energy Deployment and Market Facilitation Officer of the CEC.
“We are grateful to the CEC’s visionary leadership and partnership in supporting early-stage energy innovators with critical and timely funding.” Denise Rushing, Managing Director of California, New Energy Nexus. “Kepler Energy Systems represents our state’s mission to prioritize energy solutions that accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy for everyone.”
“There is an immediate widespread need for our Extensible Energy technology in order for our communities to reach net zero emissions. We look forward to working with the CalSEED and CEC teams and are encouraged by their shared passion for clean renewable energy technologies.” Greg Treseder, CEO of Kepler Energy Systems.
Kepler Energy Systems was founded in 2019. Its awarded invention of an Extensible Energy System provides for safer energy dispatch, remote access to energy, and grid resilience by enabling continuous application of solar and wind energy – without reliance on lithium batteries.
